Fireball have launched this year’s competition to win a spot on their Fireball Fuelling The Fire tour.

The previous winners, Sweet Little Machine, are taking part on the tour this year alongside Reel Big Fish, Anti-Flag and Mad Caddies. The chance for local bands to open up their local show has now also been opened.

Bands can enter by following the link here. The overall winner will be crowned Fireball’s “Hottest band of 2018”, and earn a spot on the next tour.

The competition will run from today until the 21st August. The winner will be picked by a panel of judges and announced on the 1st September.

Fireball UK’s James Pattison says, “We at Fireball UK are delighted to be bringing back the local band competition ahead of this year’s ‘Fireball – Fuelling The Fire’ Tour after a great 2016. I guess the cat is out of the bag now with regards to the Fireball’s Hottest Band prize, too, so there’s even more to play for.

“I’m looking forward to hearing what they have to offer, and of course to see Sweet Little Machine strutting their stuff across the full tour this time around!”
