Look out for Part II coming soon and heck some of these guys out:
Sunny Gray is an electro-soul act based East London. After getting himself stranded onto the East Side, Sunny immediately rooted himself deep in the dull concrete, growing on graffiti walls and glowing with the artificial lights of the rainy city nights.
His music depicts the ubiquitous contrast between the extremes in the metropolis. The City is a world on its own, a silent yet resonating space, where artificial waves of electronic sound are tamed by Sunny’s warm and soulful voice.
Sunny Gray is smashing the UK Scene with eye-tearing acoustic set and demolishing full band live shows. EQUILIBRIUM – his debut single – is available on all stores and has been followed by an amazing video, featured on Clash Magazine & the press.
He performed for Gotobeat on Oct 30th at The Monarch Camden with an incredible live show within a fully packed venue.
He will be back on stage with Gotobeat next year, on Jan 22nd at The Water Rats. Stay tuned.
All about House and Disco with a Funky touch.
Gledd developed an appreciation for black music at an early age. Its sound is a complex tangle of black music, electronic sound, and djing. He started its career playing in some of the most known clubs of its hometown in Italy and at 19 he moved to London to look for new music experiences.
Eventually, Gledd parleyed the demand for a new international experience, moving to Madrid for a year. The combination of Gledd’s sounds, characterized by a refined selection of Funk Disco and House led him to early play in some of the most respected clubs of the Spanish Capital, such as Taboo and Blackout.
Back in Italy, he lived in Milan where he played as Dj resident at PWP, one of the most highly regarded clubs in the city, and in other clubs of the city. At the end of 2018 he moved to Tulum where he’s challenging himself with some of the best realities of the Mexican scene.
He has shared the stage with names ranging from Benji B, Rahaan, Frits Wentink, SHMLSS, Luca Cazal, Yam Who?, LTJ, Hotmood, Javi Frias and many more. He’s working for labels such as Rose Records, Masterworks Music, Tropical Disco, Salin Records, Wonder Stories, Nomada Records, Whiskey Disco, Midnight Riot, About Disco.
He played for Gotobeat in Shoreditch on Oct 5th, in the after-party of the very first Gotobeat sold-out event (250 people).
He will be back next year with Gotobeat for some resident club nights during the summer.
Nigerian-Australian, Tabi Gazele relocated to the UK to pursue her musical dreams. After recently getting playlisted on Sofar Sounds Spotify worldwide favourite performances for the month and with comparisons to powerhouse singers such as Emeli Sande after her debut original track”Hurricane” was both played and performed on BBC Music Introducing, it is clear that Tabi Gazele’s journey is only just starting, and her hypnotic melodies and thought provoking lyrics are about to see her mark her place in the future of British music.
She played for Gotobeat in Shoreditch on Sept 11th during the first non-rock Gotobeat event, and she got all the room moving and dancing!
She will be back with some new Gotobeat shows next year.
