Germany-based indie-punks THE DEADNOTES have announced a new single ‘Makeup’ that will be released on 18th February 2019 with their newly-established 22Lives Records. This news comes along with theirFebruary 2019 UK headline tour dates with KID DAD presented by Punktastic, The Punk Site and Already Heard.
Known to be one of the hottest acts of 2019, The Deadnotes are marching their way to the top of the indie-punk scene with an agenda emulated by their latest track ‘Magazine’ said to be a poignant and memorable song with a powerful message.
“It really kills us to see so many people struggling with themselves,” the band comment in regards to their inspiration behind the single, “unable to find comfort simply with the way they are or how they act, and instead harming themselves by trying to be different. The song is ostensibly a socially critical song tackling beauty ideals and the way people judge each other.”
If you’ve never heard of them before you might know them from their stage success sharing the spotlight with Boston Manor, Don Broco, Beach Slang, The Front Bottoms, Such Gold, and many more. This year they’ll play their 500th, arguebly a remarkable success for such a young band.
An extensive UK/EU tour will follow the single release, with shows across the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and The Netherlands. Details are below:
