Slam Dunk Festival aka the biggest pop-punk party of the year, has announced ANOTHER huge blow of names for their 2019 lineup as well as announcing a brand new stage for acts. The likes of Neck Deep, As It Is, Boston Manor and more will be landing onto the several stages over the Bank Holiday weekend, here’s everything you need to know;

Returning to the Slam Dunk stomping grounds are pop-punk heavy-weight champions Neck Deep who are fresh-faced from their monumental arena tours with Don Broco and aiding the breakthrough of pop-punk into the mainstream world once again, Neck Deep have been soaring through the scene with their latest drop ‘The Peace and The Panic’ that acclaimed them worldwide success.

Also joining the bill is the internet success story that’s peaked to worldwide success, Brighton pop-punk band As It Is. The 5-piece will return to Slam Dunk Festival, bringing their ‘Great Depression‘ era in full force to awaken UK audiences to their wider message. Speaking about the announcement, frontman Patty Walters says “Words can’t even describe our excitement to be returning to Slam Dunk Festival. I’ve been attending Slam Dunk as a fan for nearly ten years now, and this year won’t be any different with such an unreal lineup of bands. We can’t wait to get rowdy with you at our biggest Slam Dunk yet.  The crash is coming.”

Following the release of their critically accalimed second LP ‘Welcome To The Neighbourhood’, Blackpool alumni Boston Manor will return to the depths of Slam Dunk to cement their growing success in British Rock. Speaking about their spot on the lineup Henry Cox of Boston Manor says;“We’re very excited to be playing Slam Dunk again this year; it’s one of our favourite UK festivals. We’re gonna make it one to remember.”

Billboard’s Top 40 reigning champion grandson will scratch the surface of Slam Dunk this year after a mammoth 12 months of success which featured trailblazing live moments, monumental streaming numbers and a Fueled By Ramen signing. On making his Slam Dunk and UK festival debut, grandson says; “This summer I and a small caravan of the baddest most diabolical rock and roll immigrants I could possibly assemble will be descending on your grounds to play my first ever festival outside of North America. I am not exaggerating when I say it is something I have been looking forward to my entire life, and my preparation, enthusiasm onstage, and general attitude will reflect that excitement I have. I can not promise you will agree with everything I have to say up there, I can not promise I will fit in with the rest of the music you will hear that day, but I promise it’ll get real fucking loud and real fucking dark. See you there. ✖️✖️

Even more exciting, this year Slam Dunk have introduced their first ‘acoustic stage’ that will feature the talents of; Justin Pierre of Motion City Soundtrack, Rob Lynch, Liam Cromby, formerly of We Are The Ocean, Chas Palmer-Williams of Lightyear and Lizzy Farrell for their revered acoustic stage.
