Five Finger Death Punch have dropped a new video for their track ‘When The Seasons Change‘ taken from their 7th full-length studio album ‘And Justice For None‘ released in May 2018 via Prospect Park.

The video, written by ‘FFDP’ guitarist Zoltan Bathory, is dedicated to Police Officers and First Responders who selflessly risk their own life to save others every single day. In particular, the emotional video focuses on a hometown hero of the band, fallen Army Veteran and Las Vegas Police Officer, Charleston Hartfiled who lost his life in 2017 during a mass shooting in Las Vegas.

FFDP are known to never shy away from brutal honesty and raw emotions within their music & music videos, as well as being huge supporters of veterans & police offers and the work they do. ‘When The Seasons Change‘ is just one of the many examples of a band using their platform to promote positive change in society. To see the moving video in full, look down below (warning: does contain scenes of violence that may be distressing to some)

Commenting on the new video,Bathory said “Instead of giving you a typical quote about the music video, let me give you some data to ponder… Medical malpractice is the 3rd leading cause of death in the USA, right behind heart disease and cancer.  Some research says an average of 250,000 people dies every year because of medical errors.” He continued “In contrast, Police Officers make an average of 50 fatal errors annually, that’s 245,950 less – and most of them are due to split-second decisions in high-risk situations.

“Of course, loss of life is always tragic but we don’t put all medical professionals on blast or call them names, disrespect them and demonize them.  Of course not.  They’re doing their best and it would be just as ridiculous as the current, grossly unfair rhetoric against Police as a whole.”

Recently FFDP came together with American rock band Breaking Benjamin to donate a portion of their ticket sales from their massive North American summer tour to charity, with FFDP donating $95,000 to C.O.P.S- ConercnsOf Police SurvivorsC.O.P.S’s mission is to rebuild the lives of survivors and co-workers affected by death on the line of duty and partner with law enforcement and the community.
