Nine Inch Nails announced that they were going to be releasing a six-song record entitled ‘Bad Witch’. The release is expected on the 22nd June and had people confused as to why this record is to be called an album instead of an EP.

“EPs show up with singles in Spotify and other streaming services, they get lost easier. EPs feel less important in today’s music-isn’t-as-important-as-it-once-was world. Why make it easier to ignore?” explains Trent Reznor.

“We’re not charging any more for it so why get worked up about it?” he adds. “Bad Witch is the closing part of a trilogy, following on from EPs ‘Not The Actual Events’ and ‘Add Violence’.
