If one death has truly shaken the world of rock music, it was the sudden suicide of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington last year. Since the band have proven their pure optimism, bravery and strength by continuing to step up and help to support various causes and charities across the board.
Alongside their work for various charities, the band’s own charity, Music For Relief has also been back at work again. You can read more about it HERE.
In the more recent news, as of tomorrow Los Angeles-based gear store, Techno Empire has partnered up with Reverb to sell Linkin Park’s gear that has been used both in the studio and on stage over the band’s career. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the band’s charity, which is also part of The Entertainment Industry Foundation.
“Throughout the last 13 years, Linkin Park fans have been incredibly generous supporters of Music for Relief, truly enabling our mission to help survivors and communities in the wake of natural disasters,” said Whitney Showler, vice-president of operations and programs at EIF.
